Dr Bushra graduated from Baqai Medical University in 2002. She completed her MPhil from the University of Health Sciences, Lahore along with 04 years of training in Oral Pathology with a focus on Head and Neck Cancers at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in 2009.
She continued her general practice in dentistry as well as the teaching duties of Oral Pathology to dentistry students at various universities. This journey included positions of lecturer and Assistant professor and in 2010 culminated as Head of the Department of Oral Pathology at Ziauddin University, Karachi.
In 2011, she successfully secured a Commonwealth scholarship award in Oral Pathology with a focus on cancers from King’s College London completing it in 2016.
Bushra has also been a member of the British Society for Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologists. In 2019, she did a clinical fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from an NHS hospital of Royal Free London. She has worked in various Private and NHS dental practices in London and Kent.
In 2024 she received the Commitment Award at one of the Dental Practices based on positive feedback from patients and colleagues.
Being empathetic, she focuses on comforting patients and making them feel at ease. She enjoys knowing her patients walk out smiling their best smile.
Outside of dentistry, Bushra enjoys painting, travelling, and spending time with her family.
